This tutorial explains how to add a photo to HTML code using Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is an Adobe Creative Cloud program used for web design. This is what I used for the majority of this site. Visuals are crucial to a successful webpage, which is why I chose this for my tutorial. Appealing images can take your content from mediocre to unforgettable in a snap!

Recent studies show that people retain 80 percent of what they see and only 20 percent of what they read, making compelling visuals a vital component to the success of any marketing effort, website or social media post. Post-It Notes creator, 3M, says that, “Visuals are processed 60,000 times faster than text, which means you can paint a picture for your audience much faster with an actual image.” Photos are a wonderful tool to engage your audience in a way that will evoke an emotional response. And it is an emotional response that will move people to action.

Yes, pictures are just one component of web design, but as I was once advised, sweat the small stuff.
